K – Grade 1

This information is to familiarize you with the traffic patterns and pickup areas for Omidyar K – 1 Neighborhood.

The Upper Mānoa Gate is the entrance to Piper’s Pali that reaches Omidyar K – 1 Neighborhood. From Mānoa Road, there is an entrance for those making a left turn into campus and an entrance for those turning right into campus. Simon Way, above the track, does not reach K – 1.
To pick up a student, you must know the teacher’s name and pickup location along the Yellow or Blue Lane (see map on reverse).
After entering the campus, merge into the Yellow (outer lane) or Blue Lane (inner lane), as appropriate. The right lane is for through traffic.
Follow the security guards’ directions. They are there to assist.
Kindergarten students are ready for pickup at 2:25 p.m. Cars picking up first-graders should not enter the pickup lanes until after 2:30 or they will be asked to re-circulate through campus.
Parking in the pickup lanes is not allowed and all cars will be asked to re-circulate if arriving before 2:10 p.m.

To allow traffic to move smoothly and for the safety of all children, please follow these pointers.

Place your child’s name placard on your car visor or dashboard before you reach the pickup area. It will remind you of the correct lane and location. Placards are provided to families during orientation.
Teachers or assistants help students into and out of cars. This can proceed smoothly if your child’s car seat is behind the driver’s seat. Please be sure the door is closed and helpers are clear of your vehicle before moving.
There is no parking in pickup areas. If you must leave your car, please find a parking space.
Refrain from cellphone use when driving on campus.
Students are ready for pickup at the following times and locations:

Kindergarten	2:15	At Omidyar K – 1
Grade 1	2:25	At Omidyar K – 1
Grades 2 – 3	2:40	At Kosasa Community
Grades 4 – 5	2:50	Starting at the curb fronting the Banyan Tree
