  • Licensing

Punahou's After School Care Program is fully licensed by the State of Hawai'i Department of Human Services. The program is annually reviewed and licensed by the State. The current license is available for your inspection in the ASC Office. State licensing requires a staff to child ratio of 1:20. The ASC ratio is often lower, as many children participate in enrichment activities on campus or are enrolled on a part-time basis and attend fewer than five days a week.
  • Staffing

ASC staff consists of regular Punahou staff, college students, Academy students and other qualified personnel.
The admission of any student in the School's after school programs is at the sole and absolute discretion of Punahou School in accordance with applicable laws. Admission criteria may be modified from time to time without notice by the School. Furthermore, students with past due billing accounts may not be eligible to enroll in these programs until their accounts are brought current. All payments made to the School will be allocated first towards unpaid Punahou tuition.
