Punahou Aquatics Club Swim Team
The focus for the swim team is on developing good stroke technique, endurance, and helping swimmers progress at their own pace and reach their full potential.
Our swim team is built on the belief that swimming is a racing sport that requires training – not just a training sport that happens to include racing. Everything we do in practice is designed to prepare athletes to compete at their best when it counts.
We chase excellence – both individually and as a team. That means showing up each day to be the best version of yourself, bringing your full focus, effort, and attention to detail. We're not just about results – we’re about committing to the process that leads to those results. By building high-character athletes who work hard and embrace the pursuit of improvement, we create a team culture that’s driven, resilient, and ready to race.
Swim team membership is subject to availability, ability and approval of the head coach. All Punahou Aquatics swimmers are registered with USA Swimming. Punahou School also offers intermediate, junior varsity and varsity level ILH athletics teams during the winter season (November – February).
Punahou Water Polo Club Team
Punahou’s Water Polo Club (PWPC) Team is an invitational program for students in grades 6 – 12. It is designed for athletes to improve on their water polo fundamentals, conditioning, and tactics. Groups are based on their ability and are designed to best meet the needs of each individual athlete. Punahou also offers intermediate, junior varsity and varsity level ILH athletics teams in Fall (Boys August – October) and in the Spring (Girls February – May).
