Choir

Fifth Grade Choir is open to all interested students, regardless of previous experience. Singers develop healthy vocal tone and choral techniques, practice reading music and strengthening aural skills, and sing with expression and artistry in both unison and harmony. Students are exposed to a diverse repertoire of choral music, celebrating a range of cultures, historical and contemporary styles, and the music of Hawaiʻi. Singers will strengthen communication skills, gaining confidence and poise, while utilizing kinesthetic, aural, and visual learning domains. Choir members will deepen their ability to collaborate with one another and their directors, creating something greater than each of us could accomplish as individuals. The culmination of Fifth Grade Choir will be a daytime performance for family and friends.
