SAT Prep

There are two SAT Prep courses open to students in grades 10 – 12 (available to both Punahou and non-Punahou students).

Courses are available in the fall and spring semesters, and during the summer as a Summer School offering.

  • Fall 2022 SAT Prep Course

    Saturdays: 9/24, 10/1, 10/8, 10/15, 10/22, 10/29, 11/12, 11/19

  • October 2022 SAT Review Course

    Saturday: 10/22
    1 – 4 p.m.
  • November 2022 SAT Review Course

    Saturday: 11/19
    1 – 4 p.m.
  • Spring 2023 SAT Prep Course

    Saturdays: 2/18, 2/25, 3/4, 3/11, 4/1, 4/8, 4/15, 4/22

Programs

  • SAT Prep

    Taught by experienced staff members, this course prepares students for the writing, reading and math sections of the SAT Reasoning Test.

    This course provides:
    • Techniques to answering many questions students may otherwise feel are beyond them
    • Ways to recognize the pitfalls that lie in wait for the unwary or hasty test taker
    • Familiarity with the types of critical reading, writing and math questions on the SAT
    • Practice tests leading to individualized instruction
    • Simulations of the conditions and pressures of the actual test
  • SAT Review

    SAT Review is offered to students who have already taken the full Punahou SAT Prep course during the previous spring or summer sessions free of charge.

The admission of any student in the School’s extended learning programs is at the sole and absolute discretion of Punahou School in accordance with applicable laws. Admission criteria may be modified from time to time without notice by the School. Furthermore, students with past due billing accounts may not be eligible to enroll in these programs until their accounts are brought current. All payments made to the School will be allocated first towards unpaid Punahou tuition.
