About

Community Engagement

With the belief that Punahou itself becomes better through a commitment to service, the School encourages student community engagement and facilitates larger initiatives to expand the School’s educational reach.

Through Punahou’s Luke Center for Public Service, students gain a sense of social responsibility and the feeling of empowerment that they can make a difference through volunteer work and problem-solving. Additionally, Punahou’s Clarence T.C. Ching PUEO (Partnerships in Unlimited Educational Opportunities) Program offers learning opportunities for students from public schools across the state.
