Jake Shirokane

Born and raised on Oahu, Jake Shirokane has been a Bboy for 16 years and is experienced in competing and performing both nationally and internationally, representing the crews Concrete Zen and Hawaiʻi Sound Surfers. Starting at a local YMCA, Jake found himself a student to “Skillroy” and was instantly hooked. Along his breaking journey, Jake had the opportunity to learn other dance styles such as jazz, contemporary, hip hop, ballet, and hula. He’s eager to help students of all levels gain knowledge in this art we call, Breaking.
