Nani Marcos

Dance School Administrative Assistant, Contemporary Dance, Musical Theatre Dance, Street Dance
Nani Marcos is a Filipino-American dance performer, choreographer, and educator local to Oahu, Hawaiʻi. With over 20 years of experience, her training includes Contemporary, Jazz, various Street Styles, Ballet, Modern and Musical Theatre Dance. Nani interweaves these genres to explore the nuances of self-expression and community connectivity. She is a recent graduate from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa (UHM) with her Master’s of Fine Arts Degree in Dance. While at UHM, she worked as a Graduate Assistant as an Administrative Assistant and lecturer in Ballet and Contemporary. As a performer, Nani has also studied dance at Duke University’s American Dance Festival, and she has performed internationally in Asia and Europe. With a passion for dance education and uplifting Hawaiʻi’s dance community, Nani has taught at multiple studios and schools, holding choreography awards for her work with students across the island. To continue her work in dance and contribute to the Punahou community, she is currently on staff at the Punahou Dance School (PDS) as Administrative Assistant and Dance Faculty.
