Band

The middle school band program (winds, brass and percussion), includes grade level bands from sixth through eighth grade. Students who wish to join the band program as a beginner may join the band program in sixth grade. Those with previous experience can enroll in seventh and eighth grade bands. 

In sixth grade, instrument placement will take place in the fall at the start of the school year during the exploratory unit. Instruments available in sixth grade include: flute, oboe, bassoon, clarinet, alto saxophone, trumpet, horn, trombone, euphonium, tuba and percussion.
