    HHSAA State Soccer Tournament: Punahou vs. Kapolei High School

    Alexander Field

    Punahou will host the first-round state match against Kapolei High School.
    • Middle Field Parking: Opens at 3 p.m. Space is extremely limited; once full, spectators must find off-campus parking.
    • Upper Campus Parking: Available to spectators only after 3:30 p.m.
    • Alexander Field Access: Please enter the facility via the Forrest Hall stairs.
    • There is no admission charge for this event.

    Punahou Carnival Art Gallery Opening Night

    Bishop Learning Center
    The Punahou Art Gallery is one of the largest art shows in the state of Hawai‘i. Opening night is an opportunity to view and purchase art prior to Carnival. Featuring over 1,000 pieces from hundreds of Hawaiʻi’s finest artists., the gallery includes paintings, drawings, sculptures, ceramics, glass, and mixed media. This event is open to the community, all are welcome!

    Talk Story with da Pidgin Guerrilla: Lee Tonouchi

    Luke Lecture Hall, Wo International Center

    Punahou School welcomes award-winning writer Lee A. Tonouchi as this year’s Writer-in-Residence. Known as “Da Pidgin Guerrilla,” Tonouchi is a Hawaiʻi-born writer and editor who champions the legitimacy of Hawaiian Creole English (Pidgin) and the power of local voices.

    Join us for an energetic evening of “standup poetry,” featuring Tonouchi’s signature style and special guest performances by Punahou students. Dis not your typical poetry reading—write on, brah!
