Erika Sanchez

Erika Sanchez is a recent MFA Dance Graduate from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. Throughout her 21 years of dance and performance she developed interests in choreography, teaching methods, fundamental movement, anatomy, biomechanics and various Western-Eurocentric dance forms. Sanchez has performed with professional dance companies throughout California and Las Vegas. Sanchez’s most notable achievement is teaching Contemporary and Jazz at the Collegiate level under the direction of Dr. Betsy Fisher at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa. Currently, Sanchez is a Jazz and Hula performer for Rock-a-Hula, the largest dinner and lū‘au show in Waikiki.
