Why “Pa‘ina Paniolo”?

In the heart of the Hawaiian islands, we're celebrating our rich heritage with a twist of country flair. Paniolo, the Hawaiian cowboys, symbolize our rugged, adventurous spirit. Now, we're bringing that spirit to life in a carnival extravaganza that'll have you shouting “Yeehaw!” in no time.

What can you expect?

Thrilling rides, classic carnival games, and mouth watering treats – all set against the backdrop of a country paradise.

K – 12 Punahou Families: We Need Your Help

Every year, Carnival couldn't happen without the help of our entire Punahou posse, and we are so grateful for the time and energy our families contribute year after year. This year, we're inviting parents and guardians from any grade level to join Carnival preparations early and get a peek behind the scenes at the many important tasks that lead up to Carnival weekend.
