GTP 2023 Story Detail

Our Kuleana to Hawai‘i and the World

Above all, philanthropic gifts from donors are critical to providing our students with the knowledge and experience that will allow them to become leaders in Hawai‘i and beyond. We know that they face a world with increasing challenges, one that requires the best and brightest minds to create solutions to the problems that confront us all. A Punahou education helps our students to find purpose and kuleana so that they may move forward to make our world a better place.
“Punahou is not just a collection of classrooms and buildings. Punahou is the people. Punahou is the educated, creative, generous students, faculty and alumni, teeming with the skills and knowledge necessary to shake the world. With every triumph and every failure we carry the Punahou name and Punahou strength. We have the gift of choosing what we wield with this power. I look forward to seeing each and every one of you use this gift for good.”
