Gift Choices/Designations

* Punahou’s endowment is a sustainable funding source that provides current and future revenue streams to support the School’s educational mission and vision. The endowment consists of over 900 separate restricted and unrestricted funds established over many years for a wide variety of purposes, with a total market value of $361 million as of June 30, 2021. Additionally, Punahou benefits from $23 million in externally managed trusts.

  • A Helpful Hand

    Understanding the immediate economic challenges many Punahou families face from the coronavirus pandemic, the VoLo Foundation stepped up rapidly to support the PunsUnited emergency financial aid fund. In addition, the Foundation has supported the Sidney and Minnie Kosasa Community for Grades 2 – 5, with a focus on its commitment to achieving a net zero energy footprint. More than 100 foundations, trusts and corporations gave close to $4 million last year, accounting for 26% of all dollars received.
