This fund was established by Robert Ebba in loving memory of his wife, Dr. JoAnne Higa Ebba. A dedicated otolaryngologist, Dr. Higa Ebba specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders affecting the ear, nose, and throat. Her distinguished career included serving as Chief of Head and Neck Surgery at South Bay Medical Center in Harbor City, California, and as a staff physician at the Kaiser Permanente Bellflower Tri Central Sleep Center. She is fondly remembered for her inquisitive spirit, compassionate bedside manner, brilliant surgical skills, and radiant smile.
