Wendy Lee Endowed Fund for Global Education

This fund was established in 2025 to honor Wendy Lee and her contributions to the Wo International Center for three decades. Wendy joined the Wo Center in 1997 as Program Coordinator, inspired by the admirable vision of its founder Sigfried Ramler while being mentored by its longtime director Hope Kuo Staab for fifteen years.

Wendy has been truly instrumental to the growth and success of the Wo Center. Her deep institutional knowledge – shaped by years of dedication, insight, and care – has guided the Center through every stage of its evolution. Few understand its mission and impact as profoundly as she does. Her selflessness, generosity, and kindness have touched not only the programs she helped build but also the many students, teachers, and colleagues fortunate enough to work alongside her.

Her fund will support the Wo Center and help students have meaningful international and cross-cultural learning experiences that shape who they are and will become – our global leaders for tomorrow. Our deepest mahalo, Mrs. Lee, for your remarkable legacy and aloha for global education.
