Hiram deFries-Saronitman Football Classic
Bring the family and join the Punahou community for an afternoon of music, food, fellowship and football as the Buff ’n Blue take on the Kapa‘a High Warriors in the inaugural Hiram deFries-Saronitman Football Classic.

Gates open at 1:30 p.m. | Kickoff at 4 p.m.
General admission is $10, and all Punahou students with a current ID receive free admission. Tickets can be pre-purchased on GoFan or purchased at the game.
The Classic honors the life and legacy of Hiram deFries-Saronitman ’20, a former Punahou defensive standout whose love for Punahou and passion for athletics continue to inspire our community. Come early, enjoy the festivities and cheer on the Buff ’n Blue as we gather in Hiram’s memory for a special day of community and school spirit.
Game Day Treats & Giveaways for Junior School Students
Heading to the game? Junior School students can stop by the spirit station at the Imu Pit starting at 3 p.m. (through the end of the first quarter) to pick up:
- Spirit Gear: Temporary tattoos for all students, plus their choice of a Winged-O foam shaka or Buff ’n Blue pompom (while supplies last).
- Game-Day Snacks: Students can use their special Buff ’n Blue event ticket to redeem either a Keiki Shave Ice or a slice of pizza!
