Concerto Showcase 2023
The Punahou Music Department presents its Concerto Showcase 2023 featuring four extraordinary soloists from the Class of 2023 – Kate Wong (violin), Erika Kwee (violin), Maddy Hodge (piano) and Celina Lim (cello) – perform Beethoven, Saint-Saëns, Chopin and Tchaikovsky with Punahou Symphony Strings and guest musicians from the University of Hawai‘i.

Punahou’s annual concerto program is a culminating activity for seniors to showcases their musical contributions and inspire younger students. This is the first concerto concert with soloists performing with a full orchestra since 2020. The concert will also feature special video vignettes with the young artists, highlighting their personal musical journeys and perspectives on their repertoire.
