Additional Information for Attendees- Enter through Gate A.
- All seats are reserved.
- Attendees will need to present printed tickets or e-tickets on a mobile device in order to gain entry into the Arena.
- No noisemakers, air horns, etc.
- No signs, banners
- No balloons
- No food/drink or water bottles
- No tripods/monopods
- 12” x 12” x 6” bag policy, must fit under seat
- Bags searched prior to entry
- No confetti allowed

Watch Commencement Live at Les Murakami Stadium or Clarence T.C. Ching Field
For those who would like to view the Commencement ceremony live on the University of Hawai‘i campus, two outdoor sites will be available: Les Murakami Stadium and Clarence T.C. Ching Field. Attendees should sit in the Mauka bleachers at Ching Field to view the video screen.
Both venues will open at 5:45 p.m. Tickets are not required. The Commencement program will be livestreamed to the large outdoor video screens beginning at 6 p.m.
---------Commencement Lei Giving Information at University of Hawai‘i – MānoaFollowing the recessional on Saturday, May 30, at Stan Sheriff Center, friends and family are welcome to greet graduates outside in designated lei-greeting areas:
– Graduates with last names beginning with A – K may be greeted at Clarence T.C. Ching Field.
– Graduates with last names beginning with L – Z may be greeted at Les Murakami Stadium.
Guests may arrive early and view the Commencement ceremony from the seating areas in Les Murakami Stadium.
Guests must wait in the seating areas until the graduates are in their places on the fields.
Prohibited ItemsTo preserve the University of Hawai‘i athletic fields and surfaces the following are PROHIBITED:
Amplified music devices (i.e. boom boxes, speakers, etc…)
Chairs/Mats
Confetti
Fireworks
Large umbrellas
Objects that can be used as projectiles
Potentially damaging shoes (i.e., stiletto heels, metal cleats, etc.)
Tents/free standing structures
Items not listed but that are determined by security personnel or venue management to be a risk to the safety or enjoyment of guests will not be allowed into the venue.
