From the President and Chair of the Board of Trustees

We are deeply grateful for our community of donors in the 2024 – 2025 school year. Your tremendous generosity empowers the work we do as a School, and impacts each one of our students, every day.

The Chapel theme for this school year was E Ho‘omoeā, Our Home to Dream and Discover, which comes directly from the language of our mission statement. It reflects our goal to inspire a love for learning, innovation, and exploration from kindergarten through life, empowering all to discover their gifts and passions.

Collectively, your gifts to Punahou this year helped us to continue creating a community where opportunities abound. More than 10,311 gifts over the last year have helped to make the unique Punahou educational experience possible for all of our students.

Together, your generosity:

Will pave the way to the 2026 opening of our new Mary Kawena Pukui Learning Commons in the Academy.
Helped us provide more than $10 million in need-based financial aid to 830 promising students (22% of total enrollment) who might not otherwise be able to afford a Punahou education.
Supported training and professional development for our nearly 800 distinguished faculty and staff, who educate and nurture our 3,770 students.
Ensured continued academic excellence, an outstanding, innovative curriculum and successful student outcomes.
Created unparalleled opportunities in athletics, music, dance, art and theatre.
Promoted sustainability education and practices campuswide.
Contributed to the ongoing care and maintenance of our vibrant 76-acre campus home in Mānoa.
