Giving to Punahou

2023 Annual Report

Our Mission

We are children of Ka Punahou, the new spring.
From under the hala tree, we weave a mat that seats many, our home to dream and discover our purpose and kuleana to Hawai‘i and the world.

From the President and Chair of the Board of Trustees

We are deeply grateful to the Punahou donor ‘ohana for your amazing generosity over the last year. Your philanthropic support is the resource that offers our students the chance to live the values of our new mission statement: learning, dreaming and discovering their purpose and kuleana.
During the 2022 – 2023 school year, donors like you made 11,097 gifts totaling a remarkable $23.5 million to care for our students, faculty, programs and campus.
Together, your gifts:
  • Helped us provide average financial aid awards of $11,600 to more than 870 diverse, intelligent and determined keiki from across our island.
  • Supported training and professional development for our nearly 800 distinguished faculty and staff, who educate and nurture our 3,770 students.
  • Contributed to the ongoing care and maintenance of our vibrant 76-acre campus in Mānoa.
In the year ahead we are continuing these initiatives and are so excited to build support for our dynamic new Academy Learning Commons, Student Financial Aid, Sustainability Initiatives and more.
Mahalo nui for all you do for the children of Ka Punahou.
