Kellie James ’01 Schmidtke

This year, the awards committee selected four recipients of the Old School Award – Vicky Hollinger ’59, Trippi Ahrens ’64 Penland, Lissa Lam ’72 Schiff and Kellie James ’01 Schmidtke.

An enthusiastic and devoted supporter of Punahou, Kellie James ’01 Schmidtke has taken on leadership roles with both Nā Wahine Pa‘ani o Punahou and her Class Reunion committee, where she has served as president and co-chair respectively. She has chaired both her Reunion Activity and Gift Committees and will co-chair next year for the 24th Lū‘au Host Class. With Pa‘ani, Kellie has elevated the experience of female athletes at Punahou where she helped grow the Pa‘ani Endowed Financial Aid Fund and led the effort to raise funds to name “Pa‘ani Pathway” by Kapunahou as part of the Kosasa Community.
