Vicky Hollinger ’59

This year, the awards committee selected four recipients of the Old School Award – Vicky Hollinger ’59, Trippi Ahrens ’64 Penland, Lissa Lam ’72 Schiff and Kellie James ’01 Schmidtke.

As a lifelong musician and entertainer, Vicky Hollinger ’59 took charge of the Alumni Glee Club for many years, coordinating and leading alumni singers in weekly rehearsals. Clad in their festive navy palaka, the Glee Club has performed at Punahou events, like the Alumni Lū‘au and Carnival Hawaiian Plate, as well as at holiday and special events and locations throughout the community. Vicky has also served as an active lead on her Class Reunion committees through the decades.
