The school that made the biggest move during the spring was Punahou (Honolulu). Not even ranked in the top 100 following the winter season, Punahou won five state titles in the spring, had two other runner-up finishes and was ranked No. 3 in in the nation in boys volleyball. The surge allowed Punahou to finish at No. 10.

Each school year at Punahou has a unique theme, and for 2018 – 2019 it’s “E Pili Mai – Seeing Connections, Building Bridges.” Hear more about the thoughtful message that grounds students and teachers as a community.

Hugh Brady accounted for five total touchdowns as No. 4 Punahou pulled away to roll No. 10 Farrington, 40-14 in an Open Division interleague contest at Edward ‘Skippa' Diaz Stadium at Kusunoki Field on Saturday.

Coming off a tough second half in a season-opening loss to Kahuku, Brady turned in a brilliant first half against Kapolei to help power the fifth-ranked Buffanblu to a 34-21 win over the No. 9 Hurricanes.
