Students experience music as an integral part of human expression through instruction that inspires participation, independence, and life-long love and learning of music. In studio lessons, professional music teachers share music knowledge, skills, and attitudes that lead to musical achievement, which are transferable to other aspects of life.

Individual music instruction is offered in 30-, 45- or 60-minute appointments for 16 weeks each semester. Instruction is available for a wide variety of instruments, subject to availability.
Private lessons may be scheduled after school, during lunch, study hall, scheduled breaks, or on Saturdays, depending on the teacher’s schedule and the student's grade level and availability.
Group instruction is also available for students to develop their musical technique in a class of similar age and/or ability.

Escorting K – Grade 3
Parents enrolling K – grade 3 students should review the information about escorting.
The policy for private lessons allows a maximum of two make-up lessons per semester for absences due to the student's illness or approved academically-related school activities. In case of illness, contact the Music School by 9 a.m. on the morning of the lesson at the latest. For planned school activities, advise the Music School at least one day prior to the lesson. Extended absences due to illness or injuries will be arranged between teacher, parent and director on a case-by-case basis. There are no make-up lessons for group lessons or classes.
