Flaming ‘P’

Punahou’s annual fall school spirit celebration, a tradition that dates back to the late ’60s, is back to an in-person event this year! The family event includes an evening of great food, keiki activities, a pep rally and the lighting of a 20-foot tall “P” structure.

Helpful Reminders:
  • Show your school pride by wearing Buff and Blue.
  • Parking will be available from 3 p.m. on Lower Field. Please do not attempt to park on campus prior to 3 p.m.
  • Students in kindergarten – grade 5 must be supervised by parents/guardians at all times during this event. This is not a classroom event.
  • Loitering is not allowed at Omidyar Neighborhood, Kosasa Community, Case Middle School, the Academy Quad and Alexander Field.
  • Consider bringing a blanket or mat to sit on, umbrella and sunscreen. A flashlight and/or glowsticks helps when it gets dark.
  • Cash is needed for purchasing at concessions, merchandise booths and chili dinner.
