Learning by Serving: Punahou’s Luke Center for Public Service

How can parents support their child’s development of social responsibility and service-learning at Punahou?

During this insightful Teacher Talk, Daniela “Dani” Goddard, Director of Punahou’s Luke Center for Public Service, will explain the Center’s mission to support Punahou’s public service and sustainability initiatives. The Center embraces community service and social entrepreneurship for students across kindergarten – grade 12. Dani will offer key takeaways to help parents support and deepen their children’s social responsibility.
The PFA Monthly Gatherings feature our Parent Enrichment (PEC) Teacher Talk presentations by Punahou faculty and staff members. PFA Gatherings are designed to provide greater insight into innovations in education and developments in curriculum, and showcase unique programs at Punahou School. This event is open only to families, faculty and staff affiliated with Punahou School. Unable to gather at the President’s Pavilion, the PFA New Families Committee will continue to host a Virtual Chitchat session prior to the start of the PFA monthly gathering. We are hoping parents can connect and talk story!
