Robyn S. Yim ’81

2011 Charles S. Judd Jr. ’38 Humanitarian Awardee
Recognizing Robyn S. Yim '81 for her significant contribution to the community. As president and medical director of the Blood Bank of Hawaii, Yim has been instrumental in increasing blood collections and strengthening community alliances to ensure our community is self sufficient. Yim, a pathologist by training, had served on the Advisory Council on Blood Stem Cell Transportation to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on blood matters and the American Association of Blood Banks National Cellular Therapy and Transfusion Policy Think Tank. She has published articles in her field and maintains active membership in numerous professional organizations. Yim is also a Punahou parent and strong supporter of the School.
