“I really like the forest area by the pick-up and drop-off, especially the maze,” said Jaedyn ’28.
“The classrooms are great. I love the new sliding doors between the two studios, and I like the playground because there is a cool dome with lots of ropes to climb on,” exclaimed Chloe ’28.
“What I enjoy about Kosasa is that you get to play on something called the Galaxy Spinner and the dome. It’s fun because the galaxy spinner can make you dizzy and you can explore the Dome,” commented Caydn ’28.
“What I like about Kosasa are the plants because they are all over Kosasa which makes Kosasa look beautiful,” shared Sara ’28.
These are some of the things third-grade students pointed out as their favorite elements of the Sidney and Minnie Kosasa Community during chapel on Aug. 29.
Chris Messer ’79, Physical Plant project engineer, was also present to update students on the progress of the second phase of the Sidney and Minnie Kosasa Community. Three of the structures have roofs in place and the project remains on schedule to open for the 2019 – 2020 school year.
