Pacific Northwest Alumni Say ‘Aloha’ to President Jim Scott ’70

Pacific Northwest alumni rolled out the red carpet to honor President Jim Scott ’70 as he continued his farewell tour in advance of his retirement in June.

Punahou Alumni Association Northwest held two receptions – in Portland and Seattle – on Sept. 14 and 15 in honor of Scott.

At the Multnomah Athletic Club in Portland, Oregon, guests were greeted with orchid lei and Hawaiian music. A group of members of the Class of 1961 celebrating their 75th birthdays included the reception in a busy weekend of activities.

In Seattle, Washington, the reception was held at the Museum of Flight. Guests at both receptions were treated to commemorative glasses and lei and viewed a video of Scott’s 25-year legacy at Punahou.

Alumni and friends from the Punahou community shared their aloha with Scott and enjoyed the opportunity to bid him aloha.
