Lab School

With an emphasis on teachers collaborating with teachers through facilitated inquiry and dialog, Lab School is a cohort-based program designed to explore topics around teaching and learning. After a hiatus in 2016, Lab School was re-imagined for 2017 and will focus on personalized learning approaches within the K – 12 spectrum.

2017 Lab School

Join other educators to deepen your understanding of personalized learning approaches in a K – 12 spectrum. Cohort strands focus on leading topics in education including innovation and entrepreneurship, social emotional learning, global education, makery and robotics, outdoor and place-based education, and Hawaiian culture. Participants engage in discussions with experts in these topic areas and observe its practice in a classroom environment. Groups also engage in collaborative activities and reflection to develop an idea or create a product to put into practice.
