The Punahou ‘ohana went jingling all the way into Winter Break, celebrating cherished traditions and adding new, festive touches to the holiday season.
Kindergarten students continued the beloved customs of visiting the President’s Home and caroling around campus, while first-graders added a twist to the annual Jingle Bell Run, energetically traversing a cross-country course through the Omidyar K – 1 Neighborhood.
Students of all ages participated in Chapel programs, and many performed as members of choirs, bands and orchestras, or as part of courses such as Grade 6 Musical Theatre.
Whether as part of a class or co-curricular activity, or simply while enjoying time with friends, students of all ages expressed the joy of the season in meaningful, memorable ways.
Happy holidays! We’ll see you back at school on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013.
