The PAASC Lu’au Committee, headed by Karen Ingram ’70, thought of every detail, including arranging rides for young alumni coming from Chapman University, Whittier College, Loyola Marymount University and the University of Southern California. For many, this was their inaugural alumni event since graduating from Punahou. Allison Patton ’11 said that the drive from Chapman with founding PAASC member Les Amoy ’53 was a delightful journey and a great way for the chapter to offer our younger alumni meaningful connections.
The scene on this Malibu bluff was full of spirited conversation, ‘ono food and represented another wonderful opportunity for the Punahou Alumni Association, Punahou School and the Southern California alumni chapter to reach, connect and engage. A big Buff ’n Blue mahalo to Alex and Melissa and their family for opening up their beautiful home for this memorable event.
