Over the years, Punahou has responded to a rapidly changing world by expanding its core initiatives. Themes of global education, public purpose, public service, social entrepreneurship, sustainability and technology have all been woven into the K – 12 curricula, enrichment programs and co-curricular activities to support faculty and students in becoming responsible citizens of the world.

Through these themes, Punahou gives its students the confidence to explore new vistas and its faculty the skills necessary to address students' changing needs while further enhancing Punahou's mission.
