This summer, Introduction to Social Studies (ISS) students explored ideas such as identity and effective altruism in an online conference with educators around the world. The youth leadership program was put together by teachers from the New Village School in Sausalito, California. The New Village School teachers brought a new version of the conference adapted for Punahou, called “Now is the Time: Honolulu.”

Learn more about the global conference in this student-created Punavision video.

“I liked getting different perspectives from the teachers on how identities and our influence can help shape our future” one student said.
