    A quick look at the construction site of Phase 1b shows pockets of rebar sprouting from recently poured concrete foundations. The project remains on schedule to be completed and ready for opening in fall 2019.

    Construction on the second half of Phase 1b has continued unabated throughout the summer and into the school year. A milestone was reached last week with the first pouring of concrete for the foundation.

    Deconstruction of the Winne Units is nearing completion, which will result in the current construction zone expanding mauka on Oct. 25, 2016. The expanded construction zone will enclose the right-most parking lane on Piper’s Pali, including the stairs leading to Thurston Memorial Chapel, ending near the new grades 2 – 3 dropoff/pickup at Kosasa Neighborhood.

  • Construction Begins for Phase 1B

    With students returning to campus on Aug. 25, construction of the new grades 2 – 5 neighborhood has shifted from Phase 1a to Phase 1b, which includes the remaining studios for grades 2 – 5 and the K – 8 Learning Commons.

    Construction of the new grades 2 – 5 neighborhood continues to progress rapidly. Much of the wood siding has been installed, revealing the buildings’ exterior visual design.
