Registration Policies

Late Registration

Registrations received after the registration deadline will be charged a late fee of $50 and will be registered on a space-available basis. The fee will not be charged if the student cannot be registered. Punahou School reserves the right to end or refuse registration at any time after the registration deadline.

Registration Adjustments

Adjustments in registration (including, but not limited to: replacing one course for another, or requesting course time changes) after forms have been submitted online and/or received by the Summer School Office will incur the following fees. No adjustments, with the exception of withdrawals, will be allowed on or after the first day of classes. All adjustments must be submitted in writing to the Summer School Office. Requests may be mailed, dropped off or emailed.

Waitlists

Waitlists are processed as spaces become available. Applicants are notified of availability when an opening occurs. Payment for waitlisted courses is due upon notification. Schedule changes will not be made until payment is received in full. All waitlist registrations will be closed by April 7, 2017, with the exception of kindergarten and grade 4 orientation. Priority for Kindergarten spots is given to applicants and accepted students for admissions and transition purposes.

Withdrawals*

All complete withdrawals must be submitted in writing to the Summer School Office. Requests may be mailed, dropped off or emailed. Cancellation fees for withdrawal for 2017 are as follows:

Refunds

Refunds will be processed after Summer School begins. "On account" credits will be issued to all Punahou students, siblings of Punahou students and Faculty/Staff children. All other students will be issued a refund check made out to the person named on the registration form. There will be a $25 charge to reissue a refund check.
