Tennis is a fun, safe sport that allows students to get outside and get active. The focus is on fun and gradual skill development as students elevate their game from beginning to intermediate and more advanced levels. In
addition to all of the physical benefits of the sport, tennis also has
outstanding psychological benefits including building character through
discipline, developing a strong work ethic, managing mistakes and adversity,
and developing problem solving skills.
The Tennis School offers a
wide variety of development programs challenging students of all ages and abilities. Group lessons emphasize a fun, learning environment, teach fundamental tennis skills and promote good sportsmanship that motivate students to play tennis, the “Sport for a Lifetime!” Students advance to different levels according to individual progress, sometimes remaining in the same program for more than one year.
in lessons as well as actual play is truly the best way for any student desiring
to improve their game. Therefore, the program combines both disciplines. Students may choose
to participate in the once-a-month, fun-based “Play Days” (grades 3 and 4
students) or the more competitive “Jr. Team Tennis” matches (grades 5 – 8
