Letter from the O-Men President

Department: Athletics

In late January, more than 30 members of the O-Men traveled to Kona to pick oranges, lemons, limes, tangelos, tangerines and avocados to be sold at Carnival. This year’s take was over 13,000 pounds. That, combined with generous donations of produce here on O‘ahu, including over 1,500 pounds from Aloun Farms, enabled us to beat last year’s sales.

For over 40 years, the O-Men have enjoyed each other’s camaraderie in Kona and at the farmer’s market during Carnival as we have raised money which, along with membership and fundraising, allows the group to continue increasing its support for Punahou athletics and its student athletes.

Class of 1982 chums Dave Andrew, Greg Milne, Richard Asato, Mark Beavers.

Special thanks goes out to a number of individuals and companies who made this year’s event such a success, including:
