    The Punahou Alumni Association presented Hastings Judd Kauwela “Pal” Eldredge ’64 with its highest honor, the “O” in Life Award, on May 16. The awards luncheon, held at the President’s Pavilion, included a touching hula performance by his daughters and nieces, who danced to a recording of Eldredge and other family members singing.

The honor is befitting for Judy Sheehan ’57 Dawson, who has dedicated her adult life to the betterment of Punahou School. Dawson truly is a beloved treasure.

    Marilyn Blaisdell ’48 Ane

    Marilyn Blaisdell ’48 Ane has always brought out the best in others. As a kindergarten teacher at Wilcox Hall, she nurtured a generation of eager young minds; as the wife of late football coach Charles Teetai Ane Jr. ’49, she cheered youthful athletes through the rigors of competition; as the mother of Kale ’71, Malia ’72 and Neal ’74, she cultivated a family devoted to education and athletics.
