Kirsch Gallery

Located in Cooke Library, adjacent to the main library entrance, Kirsch Gallery exhibits works of art by students and selected community artists throughout the school year. Its purpose is to provide artistic enrichment, as well as to support Art Department curriculum.

During exhibition periods, the gallery is open to the Punahou community 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. The gallery is closed during summer and school holiday periods. Contact the gallery at 808.943.3247.

History

The gallery is named in memory of Elizabeth Kirsch '53 Bell by her parents, Oscar and Rosa Kirsch, whose gifts funded both initial construction and ongoing maintenance through an endowed fund.

  • Hawai‘i Artist A.J. Feducia Showcased at Kirsch

    Kirsch Gallery is showcasing artwork by O‘ahu-based artist A.J. Feducia in an exhibit entitled "Let Our Eyes Be the Light." Feducia, an art teacher at the Honolulu Museum of Art School, designed an exhibit specifically for the Kirsch Gallery space and for the viewing pleasure of the School's students, faculty and staff.
