Mālama Kumu in Aotearoa

March 30, 2015

Today the Malama Kumu crew visited St. Peter’s School a co-ed day and boarding secondary school in Cambridge, New Zealand. “I was in heaven!” Eliza says. She reported that they had an agriculture and gardening classroom in the middle of campus, an amazing arts program that included wood, metal and textile, and fantastic athletic facilities and teaching programs. “Many schools we have visited have a farm component,” she explained. Terry was also delighted that they had scrap buckets to feed pigs their lunch waste.
